I love flowers, any flowers, but let’s be real I have my favorites. I’ve always love the simple beauty of carnations. I loved them that much that they were a main flower in my wedding bouquet. I love baby’s breaths, such a beautiful little flower. Baby’s breath is a symbol of the Holy Spirit. Also in my wedding bouquet. I love roses, while elegant, they often remind me of Our Lady. Finally, I love sunflowers! When my husband and I were dating and he would get me the occasional bouquet of flowers (which made them all the more special) they’d have sunflowers in them. Needless to say these have become my favorite flower and they were in my wedding bouquet as well!
Flowers give us a beauty that reminds us that eventually surface beauty will fade. We all grow older. Laugh lines appears. Hair turns grey. However, for those who love true beauty it will never fade. That infectious smile that you can’t help but smile along with. The joy that fills a room the moment the right person walks in! And flowers can remind us of that true beauty. While no two anything are the same, flowers do look the same. As humans we’re all so different but with flowers the difference are so subtle. Two pink roses can look the same. We know they’re not, but they do look the same in our eyes.
So how is all of this connected to our resin flower rosaries? Well we use real flower petals to put inside and make the beads. These flowers have been frozen in time reminding us of true beauty! This is one of my favorite combinations, the yellow rose and blue delphiniums. It creates a simply stunning contrast and piece. Yet when you hold it in your hands you can still sense the weight of it beauty.
